Discover Egypt... In Brighton

The weather was very nice for the pass few days, sunny and blue sky, and I made the most of it on Saturday the 27 August 2005, I went to Brighton that day to catch up a friend and also to visit "Discover Egypt... In Brighton", one of the biggest sand sculpture festival ever to appear in the UK.

We took some lovely pictures of the sand sculpture and hope you all like it :)

Sand art is fantastic.
We watched this guy do a sleeping horse the other year at the Cambridge 'pop in the park'

That is really nice, I wouldn't mind spending hours watching them building it from scratch. I wonder what they did they use to make the sand stayed in its shape.

I think it really is just water.
The guy used like a faint mist of water when he was working on it.

My skills go as far as using a bucket to make a sand castle haha.

I see, but for this case I think they have use something more reliable than just water as the sculptures have to cope with the constantly changing weather in UK for at least few weeks. Oh the sculptures looked very solid.
